We usually progress to bowls after we master the cylinder. But sometimes while learning, cylinders become bowls and if this is where you are at, we embrace this by turning your practice into functional pieces to decorate, glaze & take home.
This is also great class for experienced wheel throwers. We always begin with the basics and then each participant is able to advance & practice at their own speed and level with instruction and guidance.
Session runs for 4 Saturdays / 2:30pm - 5pm
5 participants per workshops
$300 + $35 material & firing fee
Materials:
Class fee includes up to 1 bag of clay for use during class / Additional clay is available for purchase at $1/LB in 10 pound chunks
Firing of all work made during class
Glaze & underglaze included in class fee
Communal studio tools available for use
