'What sign are you?'
In the forward to the Princeton's Bollingen edition of I Ching or Book of Changes, Carl Jung questions if he should believe in the ancient oracle. Jung then decides to ask the book by throwing the coins & if I recall correctly the answer he gets is ‘why not?’.
While I hesitate to encapsulate this amazing man's introduction of a very old Chinese divination text from my 30 year old memory of reading it, and it may be ridiculous of me to simplify it, for now and for the sake of my point, let’s just run with ‘Why Not?' and connect our day of birth to the constellations in the sky. Why not?
On Sunday 4/8/2018 from Noon-4pm I will be at The Piece Collective in Venice LA to celebrate Spring and to launch the Astrological Collection, a series of discs each painted with one of the 12 astrological constellations.
The discs can be assembled to create a customized wall hanging representing a single sign or a combination of signs. Your wall hanging can end with either a glazed crescent moon or a marigold sun disc.
