Sometime in the 90's I was at the NYC landmark art supply store, Pearl Paint on Canal street, buying art supplies with my dear friend Robyn who was in town from Colorado. At one of the check out counters, Robyn, a painter, was explaining that she didn't have access to all of these amazing art supplies in Steamboat Springs CO, and the girl said 'Yea but it must be so beautiful' and Robyn replied, 'Yep! Trees, mountains, beautiful skies...pretty much all a girl could need'. At which point the guy across the room at the other check out said 'Yeah! But don't forget the rock n'roll!'
