MAR 2026: News, Newness & Gratitude

Posted on

Thank you to everyone who purchased work in the Studio Sale last week!!

Keeping this small creative business alive has been increasingly difficult in the years since the pandemic and this year continues to hammer. I know it all looks shiny and bright from the outside on social media, but we are all working hard every day to just keep it going. I know I don't have to tell you- increased prices, economic worry, WAR 💔, injustice & hate-filled political policies. The world is on fire.

So how does one reconcile it? How do we keep going? How does one stay rooted in joy, while continuing to witness and hold it all? Maybe joy is generous- able to hold sorrow too?

So please know that I am grateful for every purchase and every kind word of support.

I feel it, and it helps.

Some news and newness - I recently launched some new Tables & a Sequin wall hanging at one of my favorite stores in Palm Springs during Modernism week, Super Simple.

Sequins! They are sold individually or in sets of threes. The set of 3 works as a repeating pattern to make it as large as you want. I also see them hanging singularly side by side, each painted differently, or vertically like a totem of images.

Steel brackets are shown here & White Oak versions are on the way!

Ceramic Drum Tabletops have bases of White Oak or Walnut. Tops come in White or Tucker Extra Dark. My woodworker made these bases, and I love them so much. He is an amazing craftsperson.

The new RAINBOW ROCK collection is hammered in iron-rich Tucker Extra Dark stoneware. It kind of shimmers and is painted with Rings of Rainbow and Four Black, big Marigold Spheres with glazed Crescents to brighten it all up- colorful yet earthy.

The White hammered collection is rolling out and features glazed full moons, small glazed crescents & a small signature star. Perfectly quiet and tactile. I am excited to explore this palette more.

Lastly, I am now honored to offer a collection of Memoriam Vessels.

We have custom-made many over the years, and for the last 2 years have been working on different shapes, textures and lids to create a timeless and sacred vessel.

I am really proud of them and love creating a vessel of remembrance.
